Educational Training Specialist – Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Terry Campus-Dover, DE

Type: Temporary, Part‑Time

Salary: $53.65 per hour

Incumbent will teach Certified Nursing Assistant courses to adult learners and high‑school students. Hours vary based on course needs. Responsibilities include conducting workshops, meetings, advising, tutoring, developing curricula, evaluating participants, and supporting division activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and courses using effective teaching methods.
  • Develop new programs, seminars, and courses; evaluate and revise existing content.
  • Select, maintain, and use required materials and equipment.
  • Maintain participant/student records and report progress.
  • Provide objective advisement and tutoring to support successful completion.
  • Schedule office hours to aid student progress.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to meet departmental goals.
  • Assist in program accreditation efforts.
  • Participate in meetings and serve on committees as required.
  • Assist in developing proposals, budgets, and public relations.
  • Support extra‑curricular client activities as requested.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of teaching experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
