Job summary

The candidate will monitor tech usage, support data analysis, and advance division-wide technology initiatives with collaboration from library media and network teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education or instructional technology preferred.
• Current Virginia licensure with appropriate endorsement(s).
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation.
• Knowledge of current trends in instructional technology.
• Demonstrated use of educational technology resources and software.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates technology use for data analysis and tracking student performance.
• Develops in-service sessions explaining technology integration for content areas.
• Plans and models technology-integrated lessons for teachers.
• Demonstrates classroom management strategies for computer usage and workshops.
• Monitors technology integration and recommends targeted professional development.
• Enhances curriculum guides by aligning technology with curriculum and creating sample materials.
• Shares expertise with other ITRTs to improve effectiveness.
