Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver seeks part-time affiliate faculty to teach undergraduate instructional technology courses, including P-12 licensure programs and online instruction for graduate students.

Responsibilities include teaching 1–9 credits per semester, preparing materials, grading, and providing timely feedback; on-campus teaching is expected upon hire with no university benefits for affiliates.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or related field.
  • ABD or completed Doctorate in Educational Technology, Instructional Design & Technology.
  • Experience teaching K-12 educational technology or related courses.

Job description

The Department of Secondary, K‑12, and Educational Technology at Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking part‑time affiliate faculty to teach undergraduate educational technology courses, including P‑12 teacher licensure programs and online instruction for Instructional Design and Technology graduate students.

Terms of Employment

Affiliate faculty are part‑time, at‑will employees hired on a per‑credit‑hour basis, typically semester‑by‑semester. Candidates will be expected to teach on‑campus in person upon hire. Affiliate faculty are not eligible for university benefit coverage.

Salary

The rate of pay per credit hour ranges from $1,264 to $1,482, determined by university policy.
