Qualifications

• Valid Maine Ed Tech certification is required.
• Must submit to Criminal History Record Check.
• Experience assisting with IEPs and behavior support plans.
• Ability to work 1:1 or in small groups with students.

Responsibilities

• Support Special Education Teachers in implementing IEPs.
• Collect data and follow behavior support plans.
• Instruct students in various content areas as assigned.
• Work 4–8th grade students with varying academic, developmental, and functional needs, including communication disorders.
• Work 1:1 or in small groups and occasionally assist with leading the class if the teacher steps away.
• Support students in all settings, including general education classrooms, fostering independence.
