Job summary

Bangor High School seeks Educational Technicians I–III for Project Transition. This role runs 6.25 hours daily, 7:15–2:00, at Bangor High School.

Requires authorization as Tech I/II/III, ability to drive a school van, and teamwork to support students. Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans and IEPs, applying ABA discrete trial instruction, using Safety Care techniques, and employing behavior management strategies.

Qualifications

  • Authorization as an Educational Technician I, II, or III is required.
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies.
  • Ability to implement behavior plans and IEPs.
  • Experience in an elementary and/or high school setting is helpful.
  • Ability to drive a school van is necessary.
  • Willingness to assist with toileting and swim programs may be necessary.
  • Ability to use ABA discrete trial instruction.
  • Willingness to learn and apply Safety Care techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Support students under Project Transition at Bangor High School.
  • Implement behavior plans and IEPs as directed.
  • Apply ABA discrete trial instruction in daily routines.
  • Collaborate with a team to support classrooms.
  • Assist with toileting and swim-related activities as needed.
