Job summary

State Education Resource Center (SERC) is seeking a full-time Librarian to lead and manage its educational library and resource services statewide. The role focuses on research assistance, cataloging, and promoting access to credible resources for educators, families, and partners.

The Librarian will collaborate with SERC staff, support professional development, and align library services with agency programs, reporting to the Director of Program Budgets and Services Administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field; MLIS preferred.
• Previous library experience or related professional experience is required.
• Proficiency with information literacy, library technology, and MARC records.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SERC Library and resource services.
• Provide research and reference assistance to educators, families, and staff.
• Catalog, classify, and maintain library materials; update bibliographic records.
