Xavier University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Instruction in Educational Administration beginning Fall 2027. The candidate will teach graduate courses, develop curriculum, and advise students while aligning with the Jesuit mission and strong community engagement.

The role requires an on-campus presence, a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in educational leadership, and substantial K–12 leadership experience. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• PhD or EdD in educational leadership or closely related field.
• Three to five years of successful experience as a building principal in K–12.
• Demonstrated excellence in online teaching.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Commitment to Xavier University’s Jesuit Catholic mission and identity.
• Ability to obtain Ohio administrator license within the first year.

Responsabilidades

• Teach graduate courses in educational administration and leadership, including online formats.
• Develop and revise curriculum aligned with program outcomes and licensure requirements.
• Advise and mentor graduate students pursuing educational leadership degrees and certificates.
• Support student learning, development, decision-making, and wellness.
• Maintain relationships with school districts and community partners.
• Participate in program assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Contribute to School of Education and university service.
• Fulfill other faculty responsibilities as needed.
