Hood College in Frederick, MD invites applications for the Director of Educational Leadership, a Professor of Practice, who will provide strategic leadership, administration, and teach four graduate courses annually. The role oversees program operations, partnerships with school districts, recruitment, advising, and assessment across online, hybrid, and cohort-based modalities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, Education, or a closely related field.
• Maryland Administrator II licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of educational leadership or administrative experience at the school and/or district level.
• Demonstrated experience in educational program administration, supervision, and leadership.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and direction for the Educational Leadership Program.
• Develop partnerships with school districts and educational agencies to support growth.
• Coordinate marketing, information sessions, and outreach with the Graduate School.
• Interview, admit, advise, and monitor candidates throughout progression.
• Develop course schedules and oversee program delivery across formats.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and evaluate adjunct faculty.
