Job summary

Only About Children Charlemont is seeking an Educational Leader to guide educational practice across the campus and coach educators, Room Leaders and teachers in curriculum, reflection and quality learning.

You will support assessment, documentation, family engagement, and the QIP process while ensuring children's voices, rights, and participation are central.

Qualifications

• Early childhood qualification or higher required; leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to coach educators and lead reflection.
• Strong understanding of EYLF, NQF, Child Safe Standards.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• WWC Check and clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Guide educational practice across the campus and coach staff.
• Lead curriculum planning, reflection and quality learning.
• Support documentation, assessment and rating prep.
• Engage families and communities in curriculum decisions.
• Champion children's participation and rights.
• Contribute to QIP, self-assessment and Assessment and Rating preparation.

About Our Charlemont Campus

At Charlemont, my campus is beginning a brand-new story. I arrive in the Geelong region, at a new purpose-built campus on Batten Road with six rooms, new resources and a big outdoor yard made for children like me. Everything is being shaped with care from the start. I can learn in spaces for nursery, toddler and kindergarten children, with room to move, wonder and belong. New routines, friendships and traditions can grow here. This is a place where my ideas can be noticed from the beginning and my confidence can grow with the community.

About The Role

What You'll Bring

• Early Childhood Teaching qualification preferred, or Diploma or higher.
• Experience leading a room or team.
• Understanding of the EYLF, NQF, Child Safe Standards and inclusive practice.
• Understanding of curriculum theory and educational leadership.
• Confidence mentoring educators and leading reflection.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• A Working with Children Check and relevant clearance.
