Job summary

Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory School of Houston seeks an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support the technology needs of students, faculty, and staff and help maintain the school’s technology infrastructure.

The role blends hands-on user support with responsibility for network, cloud, security, classroom, audiovisual, and information systems within the Google Workspace for Education ecosystem and PowerSchool SIS.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based systems.
• Experience with Google Workspace for Education and related admin tools.
• Familiarity with PowerSchool or other student information systems.
• Experience managing classroom technology and devices (Chromebooks, printers, AV).
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, staff, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical support point for faculty, staff, students, and administrators.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, Chromebooks, printers, and classroom technology.
• Maintain inventory and documentation of technology assets.
• Support Google Workspace applications and Google Admin Console.
• Assist with PowerSchool integrations and data management.
• Maintain network infrastructure, security, and backups as needed.
• Collaborate with IT leadership on planning and policy development.
