Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Port Arthur, TX, is seeking a compassionate Educational Diagnostician to identify students’ needs and advocate for appropriate resources. You will conduct psycho-educational assessments and collaborate with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university in Special Education or equivalent.
• A current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• Experience: At least one year as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to determine eligibility and need for specialized services.
• Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear communication.
• Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions improving student performance and access.
• Participate in ARD meetings and conferences to ensure programs meet student needs.
