Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas seeks a compassionate Educational Diagnostician to assess students, determine eligibility for services, and advocate for resources that enable success. You will collaborate with parents and district staff to communicate findings clearly and develop interventions with teams.

Requirements include a Master’s in Special Education and a Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification, with at least one year in the role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited university.
• Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification is required.
• At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to determine eligibility and need for specialized services.
• Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear communication.
• Develop evidence-based interventions with teams to improve student performance and access to education.
• Participate in ARD meetings and related discussions to ensure appropriate programs.
