Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Denton, TX is seeking a dedicated Educational Diagnostician to identify student needs and advocate for services. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or equivalent.
• Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to determine students’ eligibility and need for specialized services.
• Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear and compassionate communication.
• Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to ensure programs meet students’ needs.
