Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas is seeking an Educational Diagnostician to help students and schools. You’ll perform psycho-educational assessments, review findings with parents and district staff, and help design evidence-based interventions to support access to education.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Special Education, has a Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university in Special Education or equivalent.
• A current Texas Educational Diagnostician Certification.
• At least one year as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to determine eligibility and need for services.
• Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear communication.
• Collaborate to develop evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance and access to education.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and related discussions to ensure programs meet students’ needs.
