Job summary

Curriculum Associates in Montgomery, AL seeks a Learning Facilitator to lead on-site professional development on the Common Core for grades K-8. You will train teachers and school leaders, tailor workshops to participant needs, and help teams apply data to improve instruction.

You will coordinate with the Senior Director of Professional Learning and the sales team, while traveling up to 80% as needed. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of PD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years teaching, coaching teachers, and providing professional development.
• Experience teaching at the secondary (6–12) level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Common Core Standards (K–8) or comparable standards.
• Fluency with digital tools including online assessments.
• Comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders.
• Understanding of adult learning principles.
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on the company’s diagnostic and instruction program and CCSS for K-8.
• Coordinate on-site product training and professional development courses for teachers and administrators.
• Adjust workshops to fit participant needs within parameters.
• Deliver professional development on implementing Ready and i-Ready to improve classroom learning.
• Provide tailored on-site support, including lesson planning and pacing.
• Help educators analyze data and apply it to instruction.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify implementation successes and challenges.
• Participate in internal professional development, including observation, feedback, and coaching.
• Track and submit detailed training notes and complete assignments promptly.
• Present a professional image to customers and prospects.
• Collaborate with Senior Director of Professional Learning, sales team, and other Curriculum Associates professionals.

• Must currently live in or be open to relocating to the Montgomery, Alabama area
• Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays and transportation by car, plane, and/or public transportation
