Alpha School seeks an Educational Consultant to build a coaching culture that empowers Guides to develop students who love learning and master academics. You will lead life skills workshops for K-8 students, using proven playbooks, while leveraging performance data to drive weekly improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• 5+ years in education, coaching, or youth leadership.
• Proven people management experience.
• Experience selecting and hiring candidates.
• Track record of building or growing programs.
• Experience using performance metrics to drive results.
• Willingness to work in a school rejecting traditional pedagogy.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build a coaching culture where Guides develop students who love school and master academics.
• Lead life skills workshops covering communication, focus, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students using proven playbooks.
• Use student and Guide performance data to identify coaching opportunities and drive improvements weekly.
• Lead motivation sessions that help every student take ownership of ambitious goals and achieve them.
• Maintain your own student cohort while modeling coaching excellence and accountability.
