Job summary

Cardinal Education in Burlingame, CA is seeking an Educational Consultant for in-person work with families, providing personalized 1-on-1 academic support in the afternoon and evening. The role focuses on standardized test prep, ongoing coursework, executive function coaching, and confidence building.

You will also participate in business operations across sales, recruitment, research, curriculum, and marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an elite university.
• Proficiency in high school-level core Humanities subjects, including AP-level math.
• Exceptional writing proficiency with strong pedagogy for teaching composition.
• Prior experience tutoring high school students in Humanities.
• Vehicle and driver's license for travel between offices and to homes.
• Flexible hours including evenings and 1 weekend day.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 academic support and advising to students and families.
• Support standardized test preparation and ongoing coursework.
• Assist with executive function coaching and soft-skill development.
• Engage in sales, recruitment, research, data analysis, curriculum development, and marketing tasks as needed.
