Job summary

The Tsui Group seeks a Project Manager II to oversee Job Order Contracting projects for a major educational client in Los Angeles County. You will manage renovation, modernization, and new construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget while meeting campus standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include coordination with stakeholders, documentation, budget tracking, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple projects in a dynamic higher-education

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in construction or related environments.
• Strong understanding of construction means, codes, and contract administration.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for JOC construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Oversee multiple small-to mid-scale renovations and new construction on an active campus.
• Coordinate with campus stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors to align with goals.
• Prepare and maintain scopes of work, cost estimates, change orders, and schedules.
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure quality, safety and codes.
• Conduct regular site visits to track progress and resolve issues.
• Facilitate meetings and communications among project participants for timely decisions.
• Manage project budgets, costs tracking, invoicing and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of JOC processes and delivery.
