Job summary

Seton Catholic Schools is seeking an Educational Assistant to support classroom teachers in Milwaukee. You will reinforce academics and help maintain a safe, productive learning environment for students across multiple grades.

The role involves one‑on‑one and small‑group instruction, materials preparation, attendance tracking and progress documentation, plus collaboration with the lead teacher for lesson planning and parent communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teacher during instruction and monitor student understanding.
• Conduct one‑on‑one or small group literacy and math sessions.
• Prepare materials, track attendance and record progress and grades.
• Support lesson planning and assess student progress with the teacher.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student development and behavior.
• Supervise students during activities and transport and attend events as assigned.
• Step into leadership when the lead teacher is absent.
