Seton Catholic Schools in Milwaukee, WI is hiring an Educational Assistant to support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe classroom culture and reinforcing academic and social expectations.
You will help deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction aligned with the school curriculum, participate in planning, and receive in-school professional development and coaching from principals. This 10-month, hourly, non-exempt position reports to the Principal at St. Roman.

Seton Catholic Schools is a network of K-8 parish schools in Milwaukee. There are currently 15 schools serving 3,500 students in the network. The network is planned to expand to a total of 20 schools serving nearly 8,000 students, making Seton the largest Catholic elementary school network in the country. Seton is strengthening academics, faith formation and life-long outcomes for all students and is a unique model on the front end of transforming Catholic education in Milwaukee and across the nation.
The Educational Assistant will support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe classroom culture and reinforcing academic and social expectations. They will work together to drive student achievement by providing high quality, differentiated implementation of the school’s curriculum. This partnership will allow more collaboration, individualized instruction and support for school-wide events. Additionally, Educational Assistants will receive in-school and network professional development as well as coaching from principals.
The Educational Assistant will receive daily directives from the lead teacher, generally including the following responsibilities:

This position requires physical skills that will allow the employee to work in a typical office setting, such as standing, sitting, talking and listening on the phone, and moving between offices and buildings. The ability to drive a car and travel between schools is essential. The employee must occasionally lift and move boxes and supplies up to 20 pounds.
