Cannon Valley Special Education Cooperative (CVSEC) is seeking Educational Assistants to support students with diverse learning needs across Faribault, Medford, Northfield, and Owatonna. Responsibilities

  • Provide support to students throughout the school day.
  • Assist with behavior intervention plans and classroom routines.
  • Encourage positive behavior and teach self-regulation skills.
  • Monitor student progress and document observations.
  • Help create a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and other staff.
  • Participate in required trainings and meetings.

Physical Requirements

The position requires standing, walking, bending, and assisting students throughout the day. Employees must be able to lift or assist students weighing up to 50 pounds and respond appropriately in behavioral situations when needed.
