Job summary

Child Development Centers Inc. is seeking Educational Aides to support Lead Teachers in preschool classrooms for children aged three to five. Positions cover various shifts, with travel between centers using a personal vehicle between locations.

Responsibilities focus on supervising children, fostering safe and engaging learning, and assisting in curriculum implementation while adhering to policies and regulations. A strong emphasis on communication and collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with children.
• Superior communication, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Help to create meaningful, high-quality verbal interactions that support each child’s learning and overall experience in our program.
• Learn and assist the Lead Teacher in implementing our program curriculum while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist in managing day-to-day classroom activities, bathroom breaks, meals, playground transitions, etc.
• Learn and use our research-based techniques to effectively assist children with self-regulation and classroom behaviors.
• Other duties as assigned.
