Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking LPN students to commit to serve in ambulatory care clinics in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Clinic LPNs work 8 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations required. A paid education benefit of $10,000 is offered in exchange for serving a 2-year contracted period after graduation and licensure.

Must be enrolled in an accredited LPN program. Licensure requirements include North Dakota upon hire, Minnesota within 3 months, and BCLS

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited LPN program.
• North Dakota LPN license is required upon hire.
• Minnesota LPN license is required within 3 months of hire.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in ambulatory and/or home care setting.
• Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
• Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Job Description:

Essentia Health is seeking LPN students to commit to serve in ambulatory care clinics in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Clinic LPNs work 8 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. (Some weekends, holidays, and later hours are required if serving in the walk-in/urgent care clinics.) Selected applicants will receive a paid education benefit of $10,000 in exchange for serving at Essentia Health for a contracted period of 2 years upon graduation. You must be currently enrolled in an accredited LPN program to qualify. Prerequisites will not qualify you to apply for this program.
