Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo-Moorhead is seeking LPN students to serve in ambulatory care clinics. Clinic LPNs work 8 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekend/holiday/on-call rotations unless in walk-in/urgent care clinics.

A paid education benefit of $10,000 is offered in exchange for a 2-year service commitment after graduation. Current enrollment in an accredited LPN program is required, with prerequisites not qualifying.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited LPN program.
• Eligible for Education to Employment (E2E) program requirements.
• Lifespan care awareness for patient age groups from newborn to elderly.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in ambulatory and/or home care settings.
• Performs identified procedures with demonstrated competencies.
• Care for patients from newborn to elderly as per age-related categories.

Essentia Health is seeking LPN students to commit to serve in ambulatory care clinics in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Clinic LPNs work 8 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. (Some weekends, holidays, and later hours are required if serving in the walk-in/urgent care clinics.) Selected applicants will receive a paid education benefit of $10,000 in exchange for serving at Essentia Health for a contracted period of 2 years upon graduation. You must be currently enrolled in an accredited LPN program to qualify. Prerequisites will not qualify you to apply for this program.

What You'll Do:

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• A North Dakota LPN license is required upon hire.

• A Minnesota LPN license is required within 3 months of hire.

• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within 3 months of hire.
