Job summary

Public Consulting Group (PCG) seeks a senior leader to guide the Education practice, drive business growth, and identify revenue opportunities in education technology services. You will lead a team, shape technology and strategic plans, and build Federal/State agency relationships to expand offerings.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in public education and private sector leadership, with a proven track record in bidding and winning management consulting engagements and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 15+ years of combined experience in public education agencies and the private sector.
• Progressively increasing leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in developing, bidding, and winning management consulting engagements.
• Subject matter expertise in public education agency technology arena.
• Strong leadership, assertiveness, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead teams to sell and deliver services and solutions.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional capacity.
• Objective decision-making based on strategic priorities, business performance analysis, and resource availability.
• Self-starter, assertive, enthusiastic, and politically savvy.
• Ability to deal with adversity and differing opinions.
• Expertise in government and education technology preferred.
• PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, vision, and guidance to a PCG team for business growth in technology solutions and consulting for the Education practice.
• Identify revenue opportunities in Education agency data ingestion, reporting, and other technology services.
• Lead a team and assist in technology and strategic planning for solutions and business development.
• Analyze public education agency technology markets to identify opportunities.
• Leverage client networks and relationships to build future business opportunities and solution offerings.
• Establish working relationships with federal and state agencies and private-sector solution firms.
• Lead conference and speaking engagement strategy.
• Perform other tasks determined by PCG management.
