Job summary

The Google for Education Solutions Engineering team leads technology integration and innovation in schools and universities. As a Solutions Engineer, you will develop and execute the technical Go-to-Market strategy for Google for Education, with a focus on strategic accounts and new technology adoption (like Gemini AI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
• 6 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, education technology, or related fields.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and web technologies.
• Familiarity with Gemini AI and education technology platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer business and academic requirements to design solutions that integrate Gemini into existing infrastructure.
• Act as a technical advocate for Gemini in meetings, workshops, and events.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to influence the roadmap and stay ahead of trends.
• Prepare demonstrations of Gemini and address technical questions during sales and adoption.
• Own the technical aspects of solutions including bid responses, briefings, training, POC work, and coordinating resources.
