Job summary

Environmental Charter School in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an Innovation and Technical Services Operational Project Manager to lead the Technology Services team and translate strategy into on-time, scalable execution that supports our educational mission.

You will oversee infrastructure, security, SIS and finance systems, drive Agile planning, and collaborate with district stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure technologies that empower teachers and students toward environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or IT, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience managing IT teams, tech ops, and large deployments, ideally in a K-12 setting.
• Ability to run an Agile stand-up, map a Kanban board, and build a project timeline that technical teams actually respect.
• Talent for cross-functional collaboration between technical teams and district stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technology Services team and manage hiring, evaluation, and supervision.
• Oversee helpdesk, deployment schedules, and incidents with metrics.
• Develop detailed project plans across the full lifecycle of technology initiatives.
• Coordinate SIS, financial systems, identity management, and automated rostering implementations.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and E-Rate requirements.
