Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Official transcript showing 72.0 college credits OR an Associate’s or higher degree OR Parapro Assessment with required score.
• Completion of 14 hours Fundamental Course of Study training in first year
• 70 hours of professional development within three years for General Paraeducator Certificate

Responsibilities

• Assist students one-to-one or in small groups under supervision.
• Help teachers prepare learning materials and supplies.
• Support students with special needs and behavior management.
• Assist with speech, vision, mobility, feeding, and basic care under supervision.
• Maintain student records and assist with assessments and progress reports.
• Ensure safety and proper supervision in all assigned areas.
