Job summary

Voya Financial Advisors, Inc. in the Johnson City area is seeking a Financial Professional to support plan sponsor relationships in the higher education market. You will manage 403(b)/457 enrollment, retirement planning, and participant education.

The role requires prospecting, scheduling and conducting one-on-one appointments, recommending investment strategies, and addressing client questions. Seminars participation is also expected to demonstrate expertise.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of the defined contribution marketplace (403(b), 457, 401(a))
Knowledge of rules/regulations around contribution limits, loans, withdrawals, vesting, and plan documents
Territory management and business development
Relationship building
Fund knowledge and product/pricing knowledge

Responsibilities

Enroll and enroll participants in 403(b)/457 plans and educate on retirement options.
Develop retirement and investment strategies for plan sponsors and participants.
Conduct retirement and investment seminars and one-on-one education sessions.
Prospect new clients, schedule meetings, and build relationships with higher education institutions.
