Kitchell seeks an experienced Project Manager II to join our Central California team in Modesto, driving PM/CM services for education facilities under DSA oversight. You will coordinate owners, designers, and contractors to meet project goals on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years in vertical construction; 3+ years as PM/CM.
• Experience with California public education market under DSA oversight.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM/CM services as owner’s rep on Education market projects in CA.
• Ensure operations follow PM procedures and contractual requirements.
• Manage procurement phase; develop RFQs and RFPs.
• Oversee contracts, drawings, estimates, specifications for compliance.
• Coordinate and monitor contractors, engineers, architects, and related entities.
• Manage project controls, cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
• Identify and manage project risks; advise regional executives on mitigations.
• Participate in internal teams focused on continuous improvement.
• Enforce workplace health and safety policies.
