Job summary

UCLA Department of Radiology is seeking an educational leader to provide strategic and operational management for a diverse portfolio of education programs, including residency, fellowship training, medical student education, and continuing education initiatives.

You will partner with faculty and institutional stakeholders to ensure program excellence, regulatory compliance, and an outstanding educational experience for learners at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and long‑term planning for Radiology education programs (GME, CME, CE, medical student, pipeline).
• Provide leadership to education coordinators ensuring accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Develop strategies to enhance program quality, efficiency, learner experience, and outcomes.
• Serve as a liaison with faculty, trainees, and UCLA partners to support educational excellence.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with ACGME and other accreditation standards.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and program assessments across the department.
• Foster collaboration with faculty, staff and learners to promote educational excellence.

This role provides strategic and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of educational programs, including residency and fellowship training, medical student education, continuing education programs, and workforce development initiatives. The incumbent partners closely with faculty, program directors, and institutional stakeholders to ensure program excellence, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional educational experience for learners at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and long‑term planning for Radiology education programs, including GME, CME, CE, medical student, and pipeline programs.


• Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to education coordinators, ensuring compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and institutional requirements.


• Develop and implement strategies to enhance program quality, operational efficiency, learner experience, and educational outcomes.


• Serve as a key liaison with faculty, trainees, the Graduate Medical Education Office, Dean's Office, Medical Staff Office, and other UCLA partners.


• Ensure ongoing compliance with ACGME and other applicable accreditation and regulatory standards.


• Lead process improvement initiatives, program assessments, and special projects that support departmental educational goals.


• Foster collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students, and institutional stakeholders to support a culture of educational excellence.

Salary: $7,408.33- $15,858.33 monthly
