Job summary

Endeleo Institute in Chicago seeks an Assistant Director of Education to support the Director of Education in managing Education & Community Programs. You will supervise frontline staff, coordinate activities, monitor participation, and ensure compliant program delivery across academic-year, summer, and adult education.

You will work with schools, community partners, and other departments to align programs with goals, manage data collection, and meet TRIO requirements when applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Higher Education Administration, Counseling or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in youth development, college access, or educational administration.
• Experience supervising frontline program staff and coordinating educational programs.
• Experience with Federal TRIO programs and student data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, mentor, and evaluate Education staff and coordinators.
• Coordinate department schedules, site visits, and participant activities.
• Monitor workload, timelines, and performance expectations.
• Support onboarding, training, and professional development.
• Maintain program records and ensure accuracy of data entry and reporting.
• Collaborate with schools, community partners, and Endeleo departments.
