Job summary

Geisinger Medical Center seeks an Education Manager to provide accreditation oversight, program development, operational leadership, and faculty support across Geisinger’s education programs. You will lead initiatives that strengthen collaborations and ensure compliance with accrediting bodies.

The role focuses on curriculum development, committee coordination, and advancing learning outcomes for students, residents, and fellows while managing budgets and external educational relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees budget, staff, and administrative functions within Education.
• Supports, facilitates, and documents committee activities within Education.
• Enhances interprofessional education opportunities for healthcare teams.
• Develops and implements curriculum and evaluation to improve learning outcomes.
• Develops and implements curriculum.
• Supports program and events for educators across the system.
• Ensure professional development for educational leaders across Geisinger.
• Evaluate and assess impact of educational programs and facilitate changes.
