Job summary

Segerstrom Center for the Arts is seeking a Coordinator of Education Programs to support on-site and community education initiatives, including Cassin Promise, Internships, and Summer at the Center. The role involves administrative duties, scheduling, data management, and partner communications.

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, with occasional weekend commitments for events and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with or around K12 settings and arts administration is desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Tessitura is a plus.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and administrative support for on-site Education programs.
• Monitor education calendar and scheduling needs.
• Database entry, record-keeping, and program data tracking/reporting.
• Handle orders, supplies, and event logistics for education programs.
• Prepare and distribute teaching artist communications, invoices, and contracts.
• Represent the Center’s education programs at partner sites and community events.
