Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks an experienced Education/Development/Alumni coordinator to oversee continuing education programs, fundraising activities, and alumni communications. Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or a bachelor’s degree with experience in business management or administrative services.
• Experience planning events for in-person and virtual audiences is highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent editing skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and related tools is expected.
• Ability to manage budgets, reporting and data for CE programs and alumni activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fiscal management for the CECAR team, including budgets and funding requests.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate professional educational programs; manage the CE database.
• Lead communications campaigns and marketing materials for education and alumni initiatives.
• Oversee events logistics and collaboration with MUSC Development and Marketing teams.
• Support alumni activities and manage department communications and calendars.
• Provide training to administrative staff and ensure compliance with branding rules.
