Job summary

UCSF Health seeks an Education Programs Administrator to oversee the admissions process for the DDS/PhD, Cell and Tissue Biology PhD, and Research Fellowship programs. You will guide applicants through requirements, deadlines, interviews, and onboarding, and maintain accurate records while coordinating with faculty, admissions committees, and staff to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience or training.
• Three or more years of related work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of educational software and platforms.
• Experience in data management and documentation for programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the admissions process for all graduate and fellowship programs.
• Act as the primary contact for applicants regarding requirements and deadlines.
• Review materials, schedule interviews, and maintain records.
• Collaborate with faculty, committees, and staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Plan curriculum timelines in partnership with program directors and faculty.
• Evaluate student-instructor interactions to inform improvements.
• Manage program files, accreditation documents, and reports.
• Monitor learner files to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify barriers to student success and provide referrals.
• Serve as liaison among programs, departments, and campus stakeholders.
• Plan logistics, budgets, and events such as interviews and orientations.
• Develop and maintain program communications, including websites and syllabi.
• Analyze educational technology user experience and troubleshoot workflows.
