- Coordinating the administrative aspects of up to 5 clinical fellowship training programs in the Department of Pathology
- Recruiting and onboarding fellows
- Developing projects
- Analyzing administrative workflow
- Maintaining databases
- Communicating with faculty and fellows regarding a range of issues
- Managing internal and external program relations
- Long-range planning
- Coordinating Fellowship academic research participation and investigation per program requirements
- Serving as a central resource for educational activities for all fellowship programs
- Managing Fellowship rotation schedules
- Assisting all Fellowship Directors with individual Fellow compliance to academic requirements and hospital regulations
- Continually assessing and managing a wide range of programmatic issues
- Providing input into developing education budget and monitoring/maintenance of these activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred
- Work experience 2-5 years in Graduate Medical Education, Hospital or Healthcare strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and time management skills
- Astute attention to details, commitment to accuracy and integrity of all data, reports, and communications
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and work in fast pace, team environment as well as have the ability to exercise decision-making skills, to prioritize workload and to manage multiple complex and concurrent projects and tasks assigned
