Rochelle Community Hospital invites applications for an Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Northwest Illinois Program Director, Education. The role leads regional health education programs, builds academic partnerships, and drives workforce development in collaboration with the Rochelle Community Hospital and regional AHEC center.

Qualifications

• Master's in administration, healthcare, or education or a Bachelor's with 6–10 years of health education/health promotion experience.
• Combination of education and experience in not-for-profit environments acceptable.
• Strong leadership, communications, and program oversight required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of regional health education programs and partnerships.
• Secure grant funding and manage program budgets and administration.
• Lead workforce development initiatives and connect students with careers via the regional AHEC center and Rochelle Community Hospital.
• Provide executive leadership to enable fulfillment of Rochelle Community Hospital's essential functions.
