Job summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, invites applications for the Problem Resolution Team Supervisor (ESD). Candidates will have a Master’s degree and supervisory experience, with strong skills in written and verbal communication, mediation, and equity-driven leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least five years of full-time educational experience in a related content area.
• Supervisory, program coordination or managerial experience required.
• Experience with state agencies and knowledge of special education law preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely supervision and direct support to PRS Specialist staff for review, analysis, and response to complaints.
• Meet regularly with staff and administrators to ensure compliance with laws and department guidance.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Travel throughout the Commonwealth is required.
