Job summary

New 42 seeks a full-time Education Programs Associate to coordinate the Education Partnership Program, interfacing with NYC schools to book tickets for field trips and access New Victory programs. You will help create a welcoming school show experience and track the department budget.

Hybrid schedule in midtown Manhattan, with collaboration across Education teams to support programs and outreach to educators and students.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in Customer Service.
• Tessitura experience desired or related ticketing software or systems.
• Comfort with technology and digital tools such as Google and/or Microsoft suites, especially spreadsheets.
• Ability to collaborate and work with others.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Passion and respect for kids and educators.
• Teaching experience a plus.
• Interest in, or knowledge of the performing arts, arts education, or other arts and culture forms a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Education Partnership Program with NYC schools to book tickets for field trips and access other New Victory programs and resources.
• Track department budget and ticket income using Tessitura and related systems.
• Build/update a database with partner school details for reporting and fundraising.
• Prepare pre-show materials and communications for Education performances.
• Coordinate school arrivals, seating, and front-of-house support for Education shows.
• Reconcile Education tickets balances, partnership fees, and outstanding balances with NYC DOE.
• Manage fiscal budgets including income/expenses and PO closeouts.
• Collaborate with Education team to support all Education programs as needed.
