Job summary

Western New Mexico University is seeking a grant-funded coordinator for the College of Education to manage clinical placements, build site partnerships, maintain compliance documentation, and facilitate student assignments with regular travel across New Mexico.

This remote role serves NM residents in Gallup, Shiprock, Farmington and nearby towns, supports student recruitment and collaboration with advisors and faculty, develops MOUs, and assists with accreditation and program evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of 3 years in a public PK-12 school.
• Bilingual (Navajo or Spanish) preferred.
• Experience with rural and high-poverty schools and diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support clinical placements with sites in northern New Mexico.
• Travel frequently to build relationships and recruit potential students.
• Maintain records and documentation for placements and compliance.
• Assist with recruitment and connect students with academic advisors and faculty.
• Develop MOUs and agreements with placement sites.
• Support accreditation and program evaluation activities.
