Logan River Academy, LLC is seeking an Education Paraprofessional to assist staff with instructional and behavioural support for students. The role involves mentoring, implementing lesson plans, and promoting a positive learning environment within a dorm setting.

Responsibilities include following the school's behaviour program, assisting with ISPs/IEPs as needed, and supporting teachers in progress reporting and classroom activities on instructional days.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Utah State Paraeducator Certificate is required.
• Experience working with adolescents is preferred or beneficial.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with staff and students.

Mansioni

• Assist education staff with instructional and behavioural support for students.
• Mentor students and participate in curriculum planning and implementation.
• Follow the Positive Behaviour Program and promote respectful classroom culture.
• Implement teacher-directed lesson plans and support staff as needed.
• Assist with accommodations during therapy and off-campus activities as required.
• Prepare progress notes and reports for referral sources and parents.
