Job summary

Rum River Special Education Coop is seeking a paraprofessional to assist certified staff in meeting instructional goals for students with special needs. You will work one-to-one or in small groups under supervision, help with behavioral supports, and prepare materials for IEP-related accommodations.

Responsibilities include documentation, data entry, and assisting with technology-based activities. Travel between schools may be required; a strong commitment to student well-being is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out instructions written or oral.
• Ability to perform basic math with arithmetic operations.
• Ability to use Word, Excel and standard software.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist students one-to-one or in small groups.
• Support classroom discipline and positive behavior.
• Prepare materials for instruction and IEPs.
• Document and report student data and incidents.
• Assist with technology-based instructional activities.
• Travel between schools as needed.
