Job summary

Academy District 20 is seeking a dedicated SpEd Paraprofessional to support Special Education students under teacher supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with therapy goals, implementing lesson plans, and aiding in daily instructional activities in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Reports consistently for work as scheduled.
• Assists students in preparation, production, and maintenance of materials and equipment as assigned.
• Assists students in community-based settings.
• Maintains student files updating information as appropriate.
• Cleans/disinfects illness-related materials and equipment.
• Provides initial first aid/emergency care.
• Monitors behavior contracts and reward systems for students.
