Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass the GACE para assessment or have 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with a grade of C or better; an Associate's Degree or higher is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparing educational materials for students.
• Work individually with students and/or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist with daily routines, including distributing and collecting supplies, keeping attendance, and grading quizzes as assigned.
• Participate in lunchroom, recess, hall-monitoring, and bus duties.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining bulletin boards and other learning centers for instruction.
• Participate in required training related to the Dual Immersion Model if applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.
