Novastar Kids Co. seeks a School Business Manager to support the School Director and leadership in daily financial, administrative, and operational functions for an ER/CE program spanning from infancy through 8th grade.

You will handle bookkeeping, tuition billing, CCAP/UPK administration, vendor coordination, enrollment support, recordkeeping, and general office operations. The role serves as a main point of contact for families, staff, vendors, and government agencies, ensuring accurate

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred; Education Leadership or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of education administrative experience.
• 2+ years in bookkeeping, business administration, or office management.
• Experience with CCAP/CCCAP or childcare subsidies strongly preferred.
• Experience with childcare management software (Procare, Brightwheel) preferred.
• Knowledge of AR/AP, reconciliation, and financial recordkeeping.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with families, staff, vendors, and external agencies.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage tuition billing, accounts receivable, verification, and collections using Procare and Tuition Express.
• Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with accounts payable, invoices, and receipts.
• Communicate with families about payments and balances.
• Conduct regular financial reconciliations and audits.
• Assist accounting with reporting and documentation.
• Process CCAP/CCCAP submissions and UPK administration.
• Maintain records for subsidy programs and food program compliance.
• Coordinate vendor management, purchasing, and service providers.
• Support enrollment processes, waiting lists, and family information in Procare.
• Maintain student records, immunizations, and required documents.
• Support front desk operations and confidentiality of information.
• Assist leadership with facility and operational needs.
