Job summary

Talent Vision is seeking a School-Based Business Manager to oversee day-to-day school business operations, financial administration, purchasing, payroll coordination, compliance, and facilities support.

You will partner with school leadership, staff, vendors and families to ensure efficient operations and responsible stewardship of school resources, enabling a positive learning environment and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years in school operations, business administration, finance, or related area.
• Knowledge of accounting, purchasing, internal controls and payroll processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily school business operations, administrative systems and office procedures.
• Prepare, monitor and maintain school budgets in collaboration with leadership and finance teams.
• Track expenditures, purchase orders, invoices and reimbursements with accuracy.
• Provide budget-to-actual reporting and recommendations to school leaders.
• Coordinate purchasing in line with policies, budgets and regulations.
• Manage vendor contracts, invoices and payment documentation.
• Coordinate payroll processes and related personnel administration with HR and finance.
• Maintain confidential financial, operational and school records.
• Support annual audits, compliance reporting and documentation requests.
• Assist enrollment processes, student records and school information systems.
• Oversee facilities, maintenance, security, transport, food service and operations.
