Position Overview:
The Education Manager will oversee the development, enhancement, and integration of all educational initiatives within the PTR/PPR. This role is crucial in expanding and promoting the diversity of PTR/PPR's membership while ensuring that educational content and certification programs remain innovative, relevant, and accessible. The Education Manager will lead the development of new educational offerings, manage certification programs, and collaborate across departments to continuously elevate the educational experience for PTR/PPR members.
Key Responsibilities:
Educational Content Development:
- Develop and maintain new educational content to ensure PTR/PPR’s offerings remain current and high-quality.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of Level 1 and Level 2 certification programs.
- Create a comprehensive Coach Developer training protocol, including both in-person and webinar-based content on an annual basis.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of workshops and Coach Developer training, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Integrate advanced technology-driven resources and content into educational programs.
Program Growth & Management:
- Develop and launch a quarterly webinar series available to members, covering relevant topics in racquet sports education.
- Manage an education dashboard to centralize all PTR/PPR education materials and resources.
- Oversee the PTR/PPR Mentoring program, ensuring its continuous evolution and effectiveness in supporting members.
- Coordinate and expand specialized programs such as ACE, Wheelchair, Adaptive, and Young Coaches programs.
- Lead public speaking engagements at events promoting PTR/PPR education and services.
- Successfully grow and sell PTR/PPR educational programs, aiming for increased participation and engagement.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Edit technical articles for TenniPro and other publications.
- Undertake special projects as assigned by the VP.

Job Qualifications:Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role, ideally within the education or sports industry.
- Proven track record of developing and managing educational programs.
- Extensive knowledge of industry trends and programs, particularly in racquet sports.
- Current PTR/PPR Coach Developer certification or willingness to obtain training.
- Familiarity with all PTR/PPR educational offerings (MOT graduates are a plus).
- A strong network of industry contacts and relationships.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse and dynamic team.
- Willingness to travel for events and workshops.

- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
