Job summary

Cadence Education in Cumberland, RI is seeking an Educational Coordinator to lead a team of 20–40 educators, ensure 100% licensing/safety compliance, and drive program excellence. The role includes hiring, training, and performance reviews, as well as marketing outreach to engage families and the community.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on teaching experience, state certification credentials, and a passion for early childhood development.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on teaching experience.
• Meets state licensing standards, including criminal background screening and fingerprinting.
• Education/experience in one of these: Rhode Island teacher certification (PreK–2) with 3 months supervised teaching in a licensed program OR Rhode Island Special Ed certification with 3 months supervised teaching OR Bachelor in ECE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily school operations under leadership.
• Train and inspire a team of educators, guiding performance and growth plans.
• Attend meetings and provide classroom coverage when necessary.
• Communicate preschool standards clearly to staff and parents.
• Ensure curricula are updated on time and syllabi are provided.
