Job summary

Nathan Layne Institute is seeking an Education Lead to drive the instructional team's success, mentor instructors, and manage class scheduling and events in Idaho. This role emphasizes leadership, organization, and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced educational setting.

You will oversee onboarding and ongoing professional development, ensure staffing across Boise, Twin Falls, and Pocatello, ID, and collaborate with senior management to uphold high teaching standards and program quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in educational leadership or management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology; Barbering is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Manage Instructors: oversee onboarding, professional development, performance reviews, and accountability.
• Classroom and Floor Management: ensure staffing, readiness, on-time execution, and issue resolution.
• Scheduling and Logistics: own class schedules and specialty classes; coordinate with visiting instructors and guest artists.
• Quality and Curriculum Oversight: monitor educational quality; observe classes; coach instructors; ensure curriculum delivery.
• Communication and Collaboration: liaison between instructional team and senior management; implement policies and gather feedback.
